A drive through the winding, picturesque roads of Flinders Chase National Park boasts green bushland and expansive views of the coastline. Popular attractions in the National Park include Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch.

Located near the stunning beaches of Emu Bay, the working lavender farm is open all year round, running over 51 acres of land and 7500 lavender plants. The farm has a fully licensed café offering breakfast and lunch. Walk through the fields of lavender when in full bloom in summer and stop in at the café for some tasty, homemade treats; the oversized lavender scones are our favourites.

Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary is a privately-owned conservancy focused on providing habitat for native animals to live in the wild. Since 1997 the Sanctuary has worked to conserve and protect the natural resources within its boundaries, especially the native Australian flora and fauna.
The bushfires of January 2020 ravaged the Sanctuary and the sanctuary can only be visited by prebooked guided tour. The tours available re the;

Under half an hour from Discovery Parks – Kangaroo Island, be sure to add a stop at Vivonne Bay into your trip. With breath-taking views of the bright blue bay surrounding Vivonne Bay, it’s easy to see why it was once voted Australia’s best beach. Try your hand at sand dune surfing at Little Sahara. Vivonne Bay also has a small general store to grab any last-minute essentials. Give their famous whiting burger a crack.

Raptor Domain protects and conserves birds and reptiles through rescue, rehabilitation, education, and research.

You’ll get to meet many birds and friendly critters during your visit whilst also enjoying fun, educational and interactive presentations about the animals in care. Many of the orphaned, injured, and sick birds and reptiles rescued each year, can’t be rehabilitated sufficiently to go back to the wild, so many remain at Raptor Domain being ambassadors and creating awareness and appreciation, for their species and their habitats.

Get up-close and personal in an unforgettable wildlife experience at Seal Bay Conservation Park, home to around 800 Australian Sea Lions. Walk the boardwalk down to the viewing platforms at the beachfront spotting seals lounging on the white sand below.
