Spot the dolphins and sea lions when you catch the ferry to this small island south of Fremantle. Go between September and June for an experience that’s hard to turn down. The Island runs penguin feeding shows regularly throughout the day, however if you look hard enough, you will spot these fluffy little birds under the stairs and boardwalk, as well as in bushes all over the island. The front beach is perfect for a snorkel and for young ones to play and the back beach holds a wonderful reef with small rock pools where small crabs and fish hide.
