Step back in time, to the days of pressed metal ceilings and wrought iron balustrades. Here you’ll find the intricate hand painted Bay of Naples scene on the 'Goatcher Curtain’, the world’s last surviving example of a working stage curtain.

By day or night, the Super Pit mine is a spectacular sight. Get a glimpse of Australia’s second largest open cut mine, with its massive mining trucks dwarfed from great heights. It’s 3.5 kms long and 1.5 kms wide, and the most popular site in the region.

Burt Street comes alive on the 3rd Sunday of every month with a trash and treasure market day for all to enjoy. With the smell of freshly baked bread from local bakeries and the allure of a free Super Pit tour on offer, there is so much to see and do. Don't miss the chance to see the sights and purchase some goodies in this enchanting town.

What a gorgeous place to recharge your batteries. Set on 26 hectares, the Arboretum offers wonderful spaces to picnic under the shady river gums, walking trails amongst native eucalyptus, and there’s a dam that attracts stunning water birds.

The 18-hole par 72 golf course would span 1,365 kilometres with one hole in each participating town or roadhouse along the Eyre Highway, from Kalgoorlie in Western Australia to Ceduna in South Australia. Each hole includes a green and tee and a somewhat rugged outback-style natural terrain fairway.
